welcome! I am Zack Reed-Fier, A licensed PscyhoTherapist offering Tele-heatlh therapy across California.

I help adults who are grieving find meaning and self-compassion as they learn to cope with the complex emotions and traumas with loss.

My clients face challenges similar yours.

Despite being a “functioning” adult, modestly to high achieving in their career, and even having good emotional intelligence,
life is hard.

When they first come in, they are sad all the time, thinking about their loved ones constantly. When they think about themselves they feel guilt, anxiety, frustration, and even shame.

They worry about how their world seems to have stopped while everyone else around them seems to be able to keep going.

It hurts to see people walking about as if things are normal and everything is ok.

Some days feel better than others, while the majority of the time they feel stuck, unable to move on. They fear that they are not the same person anymore, or at least before the death, the loss, or event.

Their grief is fluid, randomly surprising them with emotions they were not prepared for and gets in the way of the life they want to live. They aren’t the kind of partner, parent, adult child, employee, and/or family member they want to be. They feel like they’re failing at being a human and their confidence in handling day-to-day “adulting” tasks is tanking.

Having to face ourselves while grieving, coping with loss, or finding ways to move forward can be really hard.

If you want to find what your new normal following loss is,

I’d love to help you get there.

Call now, I can help.

Before they came to see me, they feared they would never feel whole again.

The loss left an emptiness or void within themselves that was all consuming. They worried it went beyond just coping with grief, depression, loneliness, and anxiety to becoming more withdrawn, bitter, jealous, resentful and even enraged. They were pretty certain they were never going to like people, find happiness, or connection again.

The grief and loss hurts to the core.

Like my clients, you deserve to be kind to yourself while you grieve, and take time to find meaning, connection, and love after loss.

What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose for all that we love deeply becomes part of us.”
